Obituary of John Albert Rosaasen

ROSAASEN, John "Jake" Albert December 5, 1955 - July 23, 2022 It's with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Jake Rosaasen on July 23, 2022 at the age of 66. Father to Deanne Rosaasen, Sandy Rosaasen (Sean Miron), Connor Rosaasen, and Dana Rosaasen. Grandfather to Kylie, Brielle, Sean Jr., and Tenley. Cherished brother to Karrie (Ken) Galerno, Gary (Jane) Rosaasen, Victoria Rosaasen, and Rick (Kelly) Rosaasen. Predeceased by his brother Ron Rosaasen (survived by Lynne) and his parents John and Jeannette Rosaasen. Jake will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and many wonderful, lifelong friends. Special thank you to Edith for her unwavering kindness. Jake retired after a long career at the Windsor-Essex Catholic School Board. Jake has been involved in all aspects of hockey, whether it was coaching or playing. He was also an avid Detroit Red Wings fan. Family and friends are welcomed to gather on Friday, July 29 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church (2735 University Ave. W.) from 10-11am with Mass to take place at 11am.
