To Rich, Carmel, Carmen and Jennie...it's never easy when another family moves in to your father's life and home; however I think you should know how much he raved about you and Loved you...not a day went by you weren't mentioned with a tear in his eye and a huge heart. Rick in his 22 years with my Mom was a lot of things and everything to us. He was a stepfather to Timmy, Jeffy, Genny and I; he was a lifelong Love and partner to our mother Mary; he was a great card partner be it in Lighthouse Cove, Stoney Point, Comber, Windsor or Florida; he was one of the most charming men I have ever known and always tried to emulate...if you were a stranger, you received a bag of candy or 5$ Tim's card with a sincere smile just for walking by him; if he Loved you, he changed your life with his ongoing charm and sense of humour. Through all of our special nights and days as a best friend and stepfather he took on an even bigger and more important role...'Papa Rick!'...Papa, you were there at the hospital for all 3 of your grandchildren of Mary's sides birth. Genny and my children Karly, Jessy and Molly. You will always be their grandfather and their Papa Rick...you taught them to fish, to birdwatch and to be charming, polite and loving people. Karly is even getting a tattoo for you of 2 fish as a reminder of all the special days you taught them fishing and the fun and humor you exuded in the process. My wife and I can't thakyou enough for your impact on our life...your infectious charm, smile and laughter will echo on or hearts forever...Rest in peace Papa Rick...we love and miss you and only wish Luca would have had more time with you to know just how special of a man you are. May the sight of your smile and the sound of your laughter never leave us...sweet dreams Papa Rick! With all our Love, The Sasso's; Tommy, Genny, Karly, Jessy and Molly.

May Richard Rest In Peace from the VPN’s at EWEMS. He was one of our longest running clients. He will always be remembered for his comedic demeanour , keeping us laughing and of course his constant supply of chocolate bars He sure loved his family and especially his grandson. We will miss you Richard! Hope your riding the barrels and shooting up there!

Larry and I were just talking about Richard the other day. We used to bring him back and forth from Detroit Airport. He would generously share some lobster with us when returning from Florida. Condolences to family and friends. Larry and Francine Chevalier

Back in the Electrical business my son Jules (2010) had done some apprenticeship with Richard & one day when I arrived home from work my hallway light and bedroom light didn't work. Oh Jules said that may be because I was practicing my electrical skills. Well he decided to pursue a plumbing career instead. Thanks Richard for the mentoring! He realised being an electrician wasn't his calling. My sincere condolences to Richard's family & all his siblings and spouses. May he Rest in peace. I was hoping to see him at one of his visits with Luc & my sister Pauline but the opportunity never arose.
