Obituary of Antonia Marie Van Rijt

Antonia Maria “Toni” Van Rijt (Kamp) of Windsor ON passed peacefully on July 16 2022. Born in Ilpendam, the Netherlands, December 25th 1931 Toni immigrated to Canada in 1953, eventually settling in Guelph ON. She was a longtime employee of the West End Bakery in Guelph and enjoyed both the fare of her homeland and the many customers who frequented the store. Survivors include her son David, of Windsor, and his wife Margaret; her daughter Deborah (Toone), of Clarksville VA, and her husband Eric; granddaughters Brittany, Ashley and Emily Van Rijt, Anna Hines (Toone) and her husband Matt; Elise and Caroline Toone; and a great grandson, Jonathan Hines. She is also remembered fondly by members of the Lepelaar and Kamp families in the Netherlands, and her many friends in Brockville, Guelph and Windsor. At Toni’s request there will be no funeral or memorial service.
