Obituary of Peter John Wayne Bertrand

BERTRAND, Wayne April 26, 1950 - July 15, 2022 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Wayne Bertrand announces his peaceful passing on July 15, 2022 at the age of 72. Beloved husband to Linda Jean Bertrand and a caring Papa to his fur baby Snuggles and his buddy Gizmo. Predeceased by his parents Real Bertrand and Reina Bertrand. Forever remembered by his sister Lynn Laureault (Tony DoRego). Brother-in-law to Adelaide Gallacher, Gail Sutton, Al Stelling (Mandy), Terry Stelling. Loving Uncle to Natalie Sutton (Graham), AJ Stelling (Amanda), Ryan Laureault, Matthew Laureault, Tyler Laureault, Scott Stelling and Riley Stelling. He will greatly be missed by his great-nieces and nephews Arianna Stelling, Brianna Clermont, Cole Clermont and Harvey Clermont. Caring Godfather of Josh Demars (Samantha). He will also be missed by many friends, colleagues and extended family. Wayne was very passionate about bowling and golf. He served on the board of the Windsor Essex Bowling Association for many years as a lifetime member. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Cancer Foundation is appreciated. Special thanks goes out to the staff of Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette campus. The family is eternally grateful for the kind and compassionate care up until the time of his passing.
