Anita was our dog walker for a number of years and we are so sorry to hear of her passing. We used to marvel at how a tiny little woman like her could handle our 2 labs. They loved her and were always beyond excited to see her. She painted a picture of the 2 of them on slate and we still have it in our indoor patio. We knew Anita as a kind, lovely lady and we pass our condolences on to her family. Regards, Ross and Ana Davies (and Thelma and Louise).

We will truly miss Anita. She was a very special person that really became a great friend to us. She took great care of our pets and they really loved her too. Rider was always excited to see her. An amazing artist, she painted portraits of each of our pets onto rocks which we will cherish forever. What talent she had to capture their likeness so well. We will miss Anita dearly and will always remember her with absolute fondness. What a wonderful person.

To Dave, Matt and Cal our deepest sympathies. Anita was a very special lady. She will indeed be missed but live on in our hearts. The memories of doing what she loved doing and was good at ,will also be a bright spot for all of us. For Jeff is was fixing the computer and talking about current events and for myself it was the gift of painting my dogs" Belle, Zeke and Zeus". I will cherish forever. Sending prayers and strength to you all. Love Jeff and Heather.

I am so sorry to hear of Anita’s passing. What wonderful memories I have and what a beautiful spirit she had. You were always at ease in her presence. She was so down to earth. I will cherish the memories of raising our kids together, her amazing creative ability, and her belting out “Bobby McGee” as many times as we begged her when she was playing live. She was a special person who will always hold a special place in my heart. My sincere condolences to Dave, Matthew, Cal, and the family.

Anita was a dear dear friend. It is hard to put in words the impact she had on my life. Many of our memories involve the raising of our sons Cal and Johnny. We supported their sport escapades for many years and had so much fun doing so. Although it was our sons that brought us together. Our friendship grew far beyond the hockey arena and the baseball diamonds . I was Crash Cals personal nurse and we still laughed about this till the last special conversation we had. Anita and I shared our love for gardening, yard sales and solving the worlds problems. LOL Anita was the one I went to when I needed a alternative option for a health concern. Trust me she had the answers and did the research. Always willing to share her knowledge and her supplements. Whether it be Chunga Tea or Kombucha. My pantry holds the glass bottles to remind me of her generosity. Anita loved to celebrate others accomplishments and was so genuine with excitement when she heard of good news in my family. When my first grandchild was about to be born she would go to yardsales and pick up little items just because she could not resist. Just a few weeks ago when we talked last I was able to share the news the my son is going to be a father. She was so excited to here the news. We then both became even more excited when we found out they are due to have the baby very close together. They themselves are more one day apart themselves and coincidentally live only a few houses away from each other. It was so nice to share our family trials and triumphs throughout the years and a special memory to share so recently. Anita was a talented musician and artist but was so humble with her talent. Always encouraging others to shine. A genuine soul through and through. Loved to live the simple life and very happy in that place always. Giving of her heart in all instances. I will cherish each and every conversation, piece of advice, moments of laughter I had with her. I was blessed to have Anita grace my life. Anita taught me the meaning of strength and perseverance, how to be grateful, humble and kind and the meaning of simplicity. She lived all of these qualities in her day to day life. I true role model on how to me a good human being! Rest in Peace my dear friend. Play in the gardens of Heaven, Paint the clouds, Send us a melody to help us grirve the loss of you sweet one. Thank You for being the wonderful you! Sincerily in Friendship Cheryl MacLellan Rob Myself Christa, Jen and Johnny send our deepest condolences to Dave , Cal , Matt and their beautiful families. Love The Mac Lellans

I am heart broken about the passing of Anita. She was always such a kind and quiet person. A guitar, paint brush or dog was never far from her side. Some of my best memories were as a child singing along with her while she played the guitar. As I got older I realized why she asked me not to sing so loudly lol! She will be greatly missed by me and my entire family. I’m so sorry for your loss and hope to see you all soon. Love and hugs. XO DeeDee, Ron, Hannah and Ashley

Anita, you've been in my life since grade 9. We did everything together. We also went to college together taking Commercial Art. You were always a better artist than I was. We did the bars together. I followed you to the bars you played in with Denny. You'll be forever with me in my heart and mind. You are loved & will be missed.
