Obituary of James Clifford Fortin

FORTIN, James "Jimmy" October 6, 1944 - June 22, 2022 With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our much loved Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa Jimmy. Reunited with his late wife Carol. Cherished father to Kim Burns (Stewart), and predeceased by his son Michael. Brother of Marilyn Fortin, Liz Poisson (Ross), and Susan O'Brien (Hugh) and predeceased by his brothers Wayne and Bill. Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Kathleen Fortin. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Taylor and Lauryn Burns, Melissa Guthrie, Dan Fortin, and great-grandchildren Ashton Burns and Abby, Austin and Aidan Guthrie, and Alyssa Fortin. Jimmy will certainly miss his Saturday afternoons at the Riverside Tavern with his buddies, especially George and Angie who have been so good to him. Jimmy will be remembered as a kind, generous, hard working family man. As per Jimmy's wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Simple Choice (Wyandotte) 519-254-2585.
