Obituary of Betty Ann Menard

MENARD, Betty Ann February 9, 1936 – June 23, 2022 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Betty Menard, beloved wife of 68 years to Leonard Menard, on June 23, 2022. Loving mother to Leonard (MaryBeth), Kathi (Dennis), and Richard (Tina); cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Jaime, Jacqui, Jordyn, Liam, Annie, Cody and Jody; great grandmother to Troy, Evalina, Lenny, Logan and Levon; predeceased by parents Kenneth and Geraldine Irwin. Betty was a woman of many talents and excelled at everything that she put her mind to. She was an accomplished artist, and after raising her children, returned to the workforce to begin her career in the Provincial Courts as a well-respected clerk, court reporter, and court staff manager. Her family was the beneficiary of her unwavering love and support, and she provided a role model for strength, courage and determination throughout her life. Betty will be sadly missed by all those whose lives she touched. As per Betty’s wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Simple Choice (Dougall) 519-254-2585. Family and friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Life on Wednesday June 29, 2022 for 11:00 a.m. at Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave. Windsor) followed by a luncheon at the Windsor Sportsmen’s Club (2401 Dougall Ave. Windsor).
