Obituary of Michael Fostyk

FOSTYK, Michael Passed away peacefully at his home, with his family by his side, on June 21, 2022, in Windsor, ON at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Berehula) for 59 years. Loving father of Sherry Mitchell-Fostyk (Jeffrey). Cherished grandfather of Brendan (Michelle) and Jaylen (Courtney). Also lovingly remembered by his sister Stella Shumsky. Michael will also be missed and remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Michael was very involved in his community and volunteering his time with many organizations and causes. As per Michael’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simple Choice (Dougall) 519-254-3232. A Private service will be held at a later date. Donations made in memory of Michael to The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
