As I read the obituary in the paper this morning of Mamie's celebration of life, I was saddened to learn of her leaving her journey here, but also had joy to know of the glorious journey she has now entered into. I can so relate to all the details of how Mamie lived her life to the fullest and truly cherished it as a genuine gift, as I reflect back on memories I shared with her, even though being years ago, left an impact and impression on my heart. Mamie intoduced herself to me while working at Seasons Retirement in Amherstburg as a marketing manager, while holding various events there which she would love to attend. In conversations, we discovered that we had something in common, carrying the same name within our lives, being Roadhouse. We had some great laughs conversations and visits from then on, feeling like this connection, clearly made us instant friends. I will always admire Mamie's enthusiasm and zest for life that she so freely shared with others while in her company. My heartfelt sympathies go out to all of Mamie's family in this time
