Obituary of Christine Mary Bonhomme

Christine is out of pain, and reunited with her loving husband Raymond! Christine was born in England on July 5th, 1939, and emigrated to Canada after the second world war. She settled in LaSalle with her family, and was educated at Colonel Bishop school. She lived and worked for a number of years in Montreal, before moving back to LaSalle. Christine is survived by her son Steven Bendis, (Carey) and his son Rhys, her daughter Christine (Martin) and their son Damien, Step-son Jeff (Jen) and children Amelia and Aleks, Step-daughter Lisa (Tom) and children Eric, Rachel, Benjamin and Emma, and Step-daughter Jenny (Nicholas) and their children Jackson, Harrison and Lilly. Chris was an executive secretary to the head of Met hospital, for most of her working career. She was active politically, and was never short of an opinion when the conversation turned that way. She was an active gardener, sharing her skills with family and friends. In lieu of flowers or cards, please raise a glass of wine and toast the wonderful life that she had.
