Obituary of Darlene Sylvia Keelan

On June 12, 2022, Darlene Sylvia Keelan (nee Kemski) suddenly departed to her eternal home. She was born to Frank (1991) and Margaret (1985) Kemski. Best friend and soulmate to husband David Keelan (2018). Cherished sister to Frank (Marlene) [Brian & Sherry, Sheila & Charlie, Sherrie Jane & Michael], sister to Danial (2007) (Dianne) [Nicholas & Fiona, Mary & Shane], sister to Robert (Erika) [Rachel, Tyler], sister to Michael (Amy) [Michael Jr. & Alina], sister to Sandra [Kaitlynn & Christian, Sallma], sister to James [Jaeden], sister to Nancy Wilkinson (Greg), sister to Cathy [Matthew, Mark & Chantal], sister to Brian (Sherry) [Brooklyn, Aspen]. Beloved daughter-in-law of George (2009) & Donnabelle Keelan. Beloved sister-in-law to the Keelan family: Kathy (Chris) Roy [Darren & Tracy, Andrew & Jessica], Karen, Sandra Lukas [Erin & Jessica]. Great Auntie to Charie, Seph, Silas, Killian, Kyle and Abigail. Cousin to Samoila and Udicki families. Darlene was a devout Christian who served the community as a nurse for 40 years, most of them serving with Home and Community Care Support Services Erie St. Clair. Her co-workers were family to her. She put God and family first. You were greeted by her winning smile, unconditional love, infectious laughter, as she invited you into her garden and offered you freshly baked strudel and other favourites. She was dearly loved. We will all miss her, especially her sense of humour and kindness. We have been blessed knowing her. Deep appreciation to all those who made it possible for our family to spend time with her! These are memories that we greatly cherish! A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Hiatus House, Windsor Hospice, and/or Bibles for Mission.
