Obituary of John Waddell

WADDELL, John October 19, 1931 - June 8, 2022 Passed away peacefully on June 8, 2022 at the Sun Parlor Home in Leamington at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Joyce (Cooke) and cherished father of David (Julie) and Elizabeth (Jay) Hillis, grandfather to Ryan (Alesia), Caitlin, Ashley, Allison, and William, and great grandfather to Noah, Alex, Zariah, and Braylon. John is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Born in Glasgow, Scotland on October 19, 1931 to his late parents Samuel and Matilda Waddell. John is also predeceased by his brother Samuel and sisters Mary (Robertson), Katie (Muir), and Rachel (Hunter). The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Sun Parlor Home for their more than four years of exceptional and compassionate care.
