Obituary of James Edward Geauvreau

GEAUVREAU, James Edward "Jim" April 10, 1944 - May 31, 2022 It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of Jim in his 78th year. A loving husband and father, beloved brother, and proud grandfather and uncle, Jim will be sorely missed by all. Son of the late Ed and Gladys Geauvreau, he leaves behind his beloved wife Hermina, and cherished children, Mark (Stefanie), Brett, Tom, and Lisa. Loving brother of the late John (Starr), and sisters, LouAnn (John), and Peggy (Herb). His grandchildren Alysha, McKenna, Kai, Koen, Nathan, and Christian were the treasures of his life, and his many nieces and nephews were his pride. He had many friends and will be missed by all. Jim was not a jack of all trades, he was a master. In his chosen career as a mechanic, he not only excelled at his occupation, but used his knowledge and expertise to help out his family and friends. If he was asked to help, he was there before you finished your request. He loved family get togethers first and foremost, and some of his interests included motorcycles, cars, car races, history, and visiting. He was famous for "just dropping by" and his presence was always most welcome. It is hard to sum up a man's life, but the memories he left us all are immeasurable. We may shed a few tears, but they will be through the smiles he left us. A Celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date. As per Jim's wishes cremation has taken place.
