So sorry to hear of Gord's passing. I was a very Junior Art Director at Enterprise Advertising in Toronto and Gord was one of my first mentors. Gord was always smiling and had a quiet, wicked wit. He helped me in understanding and navigating the real ad agency creative world. It was a pleasure working with and learning from him. Ann Hollingworth

Besides him being a wonderful professor and friend, our conversations will be the memories I cherish. We would talk about life and not shop. He’d talk about his son, his wife and his trips going down to North Carolina to see his sister. It was the pride and joy of his journey that always had me in awe of this man. Everything was about joy and laughter and getting rid of the shit that didn’t matter or had negative energy. He showed me a beautiful way to live. Thank you Gordo!

My sincere condolences to all of Gord's family. He was an amazing man, teacher, friend, colleague, and mentor. Always lighting up a room with his humor and smile. He was such a creative soul, and made such an impact with so many great masterpieces from his passion for advertising, writing, and art. Gord, you were my inspiration. You will be truly missed.

Gord had such a great sense of humour. I loved his stories about his dad’s band. Gord would sing Rolling Down the River as it was sung in the hey day of his teenage years with his dad’s band. Lots of laughter. Wonderful teacher, colleague, and friend.
