Obituary of Darrin William Cavers

Darrin William Cavers June 24th 1967 - April 29th 2022 This big teddy bear of a man continued to make people laugh throughout his life, and he told his last joke on Friday April 29th 2022. His nurses adored him just as much as we did. When we would remind him how much he is loved, he would always reply with, “What’s not to love?” Although he left us too soon, he lived a full life of adventure. He worked for the Town of Kingsville for over 30 years, he played football in High School and was lineman of the year. He was a master paddler, loved to kayak and he taught his craft at Windsor University for 17 years, as well as the Sherk Centre and also at Pelee Wings. Darrin loved to sail, and he said sailing was a natural transition from kayaking. He was a sought after teammate because of his size and agility. Riding a motorcycle became his next passion, but his strongest passion and love was for his family. He will be deeply missed by every life that he touched with his humour and charm.
