I have been friends with Chris for almost 40 years, I never met Chris until I was about 13 or 14 when they moved to Woodslee. From day one, we were getting in trouble together. We grew up on snowmobiles together and you will see many of my pictures with him were from snowmobiling, it was his passion and where he first honed his skills as a mechanic. Always working on something Chris was swapping engines in cars by 17 and we always said if it has an engine, Chris could fix it. He also knew everything I ever asked him about construction, plumbing, roofing, metal fabrication he spent a lot of years doing drywall but I am confident he could build a house by himself, except the electrical, he hated electrical work. Truly one of the smartest guys I've ever known. Chris was always there when I needed him and I often felt things were a little one-sided that way, any construction project, snowmobile repair, digging a pool he was there and could work harder and faster than three normal men. I would try and help but often it was best to just get out of his way and let him do his thing. When my Dad started to deteriorate, Chris was there helping him as well. They developed a special bond in the last few years and he was really upset when my Dad passed. Anyone that only remembers Chris from his wild youth, I wish you could have met the man he became in the last decade or so. Miss you dearly my friend, I hope you find peace with your Mom and sister and good times with Danny and Billy J and all those that have left us too soon. Marty

So many memories of Chris, who was the first born in our family so that made him extra special. He was such a happy kid. He was fearless and very protective of his little sister and was so ambitious and so eager to learn anything and everything, especially in the garage, acquiring skills that would carry him through his short lifetime, helping anyone and everyone without hesitation. He loved dirt bikes, snowmobiles and fast cars and always kept them running. When he was younger he had his rough and tough moments but as he grew older he was nothing other than a gentle giant. He was always kind and generous. He loved his family and valued his friends. He had a huge heart! So many wonderful memories of his childhood, and then just like that, he's all grown up and living his life. As I look back, I realize how much more blessed I would have been if I had spent more time with him so I will remain heartbroken until we meet again. "Tink".... I know you received a warm welcome wrapped in the arms of your mom, your sister and all your other loved ones who passed before you. I love you, I miss you and may you rest peacefully. Be sure to watch for me when my time comes. Love always, Nanny
