Obituary of Geoffrey Burton Garrod

GARROD, Geoffrey Burton July 31, 1968 – April 17, 2022 It is with broken hearts that the family of Geoff Garrod announces his passing at the age of 53. Born in Windsor, Geoff was the son of Robert & Merry Garrod. Beloved husband and best friend to Lorie Aston. Cherished father to Leah Garrod and Chloe Garrod. Forever remembered by his grandson Adrian Garrod. Loving brother to Laura Garrod Francis (Chris Hickling) and Greg Garrod (Lisa Christo). Geoff will also be dearly missed by his extended family and friends. Geoff loved life and his family very much. He enjoyed nature walks, bike rides, camping, and sitting in the sunshine. He loved to be the centre of attention and always had a funny story to share with others. Geoff was a hard worker with roofing and construction. He always put others first before him. He will be mostly remembered by the love he shared with his family and friends. As per Geoff’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Freedom Church of Windsor on Friday April 29th at 4pm: Address 2180 Howard Ave., Windsor. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE (Dougall), 519-254-2585.
