Obituary of Murray Edward Walker

WALKER, Murray Edward April 30, 1934 - April 22, 2022 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Murray Walker announces his passing on April 22, 2022 at the age of 87. Beloved husband to the late Cathern Anne Walker. Cherished father to Shelby Dueck and Scott Walker. Grandpa to Tiffany, Tyler, Olivia, and Ben and great-grandpa to Diamond and Mercedes. Fondly remembered by his sister Francis Miller. Murray will also be dearly missed by his extended family and many close friends. Murray loved living by the water, enjoyed sailing, and was a longtime member of the Cedar Island Yacht Club. A star running back, he won the Canadian Championships in AKO Football in 1956. As per Murray's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private gathering with family and close friends celebrating Murray's life will be held at a later date.
