PALIGA, Joanne Elizabeth (nee Tangney) April 13, 1957 - April 1, 2022 The family of Joanne Elizabeth Paliga (nee Tangney) sadly announce the sudden and unexpected passing of their beloved mother at home in Amherstburg, Ontario on Friday, April 1, 2022 in her 64th year. Loving mother of Ryan and his wife Sabrina (Nepean, On.), Adam and fiance Kayla Decaire-Kjarsgaard (Sault St. Marie, On.), Christian (Amherstburg, On.). Loving ‘Nana’ of Claire Irene and Madeline Jeanne. Sister of Mary Anne Tangney, Jack Tangney, Doug Tangney and Patricia (Patty) Ratchford. Missed by her best friend Trudi Deneau. Joanne was predeceased by her parents, Irene and Michael Tangney and her sons’ father, Henry Paliga. For Joanne, family always came first. She was a devoted mother & grandmother, a fun-loving loyal friend and a generous caring soul. She will be dearly missed by so many. Memorial donations to your local Cancer Society, SPCA or Humane Society would be appreciated as an expression of sympathy. As Joanne lived her life, a kindness extended to another is a tribute to her. A private celebration of Joannes’ life will be held at a later date.
