POISSON, Carmel Marie (nee Parent) March 9, 1924 - March 9, 2022 Came from the Lord and returned to his side on the day of her birth. Beloved wife of the late Leonard (1988). Dearest mother of Jerome (Cathy), Denise (Morris), and Neil (the late Leah). Loving grandmother of Michael, Steven and Joanna O'Quinn, Angela and Erick, and Pierre and fiancée Lisa. Blessed great-grandmother of Skylar, Kayden, and Jersey. Carmel was the daughter of the late Emile and Attée (nee Campeau) Parent. Survived by her sister Margaret Hunt (the late Reford) and brother Julien Parent (the late Cecile). Sister of the late Leo and Marguerite Parent, the late Evangeline and Leo Bondy, the late Marie and Jim Parent, the late Pauline and Edward Drouillard, the late Wilfred Parent, the late Theresa Parent and her husband Dennis. Sister-in-law of the late Ron, Madeleine (the late Al Campeau), Bill Poisson (the late Doreen), and survived by Jo-Anne (nee Poisson) and her husband Leo Shaw, and Joyce Poisson (the late Jerry Baker). Loved by many nieces and nephews from the Poisson, Parent, Bondy, Drouillard, and Campeau families. At Carmel's request no visitation or funeral will take place. Cremation has been entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE (Wyandotte) 519-254-2585. Burial will take place at a later date. If desired, her family requests donations in Carmel's name be made to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County, St. Vincent De-Paul, Windsor Downtown Lions Club, The Windsor/Essex Humane Society, the Church of the Atonement, or a charity of your choice.
