Obituary of Gerald James Murphy

MURPHY, Gerald "Gerry" James December 11, 1940 - March 1, 2022 Passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 1, 2022 at the age of 81. Married December 23, 1961, Gerry is the cherished husband to Loreine Murphy. Beloved father to Mark and Edward. Proud grandpa to Brandon, Collin, Krystal, and Austin Murphy. Gerald will also be forever remembered by his extended family and friends. After proudly serving in the U.S. Navy from 1961-1965, Gerry worked in machine repair at Ford Motor Company before retiring in December 2005. In 1989, he was the Commodore of the Sun Parlour Boat Club, and he was a member of the Camaro Club of Windsor. As per Gerry's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Windsor Hospice for their care and compassion.
