Obituary of Joan Elizabeth Wilson

WILSON, Joan December 30, 1958 - February 14, 2022 Passed away peacefully with her husband Lawrence (Kim) & her two other loves: sons Nicholas & Andrew at her side. She was compassionately taken care of by the 4th floor nursing staff at Met campus. Many thanks to all for their support. Over the course of her life, Joan had numerous adventures & developed loving bonds with many amazing friends from all over. She had a deep love of animals and believed everything deserved a second chance. Many rescues & strays found a loving & compassionate friend in Joan. Her love of gardening brought her great happiness. Over the years, she has left many botanical treasures at every place she called home. Joan’s other great joy was welcoming three beautiful grandchildren Hannah, Nate and Zelda. Her hopes, dreams and imagination carry on in them. The family has decided on quiet & reflective remembrances with all her friends and family over the coming months. As per Joan’s wishes cremation has taken place.
