Obituary of Muriel Custance

CUSTANCE, Muriel (nee Nicholls) April 16, 1943 - January 26, 2022 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Muriel "Auntie Moo" Custance announces her passing at the age of 78. Born in Toronto, Muriel was the daughter of the late Barbara and the late Gordon Nicholls. Beloved wife to the late Kenneth Custance. Cherished mother to Phillip and Michael Custance Proud Nana to Conner and Toni Custance. Dear mother to her "adopted" sons Pete Palesh and Lance Lucier. Forever remembered by her friends Barbara and John Parent, Anna Petroni, Bob and Virginia Oliver, Daniel and Denise Ferris, and Cathy "Spaz" Speziale, and Francis Edward Scheer. Auntie Moo will also be dearly missed by her extended family and friends. Muriel will be remembered as the best stay at home mom ever. She was always there to support her children in any way that she could, whether that was clearing out her living room for her sons' countless band practices, or simply being there for a shoulder to lean on. Muriel loved to share her love of the outdoors with her grandchildren through camping trips to Pinery Provincial Park. As per Muriel's wishes, cremation has taken place.
