Obituary of Debra Marie "Debi" Sweet (Martin, nee Dempsey)

SWEET, Debra Marie "Debi" (Martin, nee Dempsey) June 7, 1953 - December 19, 2021 Passed away peacefully on December 19, 2021, at the age of 68. Loving wife of Ron Martin for 35 years. Beloved mom and best friend of Jenn (David). Proud grandma of Riley. Cherished sister of Mary Jane Dempsey (Bill Kokosza), and sister-in-law of Diane deGroot (Nick). She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Debi was known to love the Christmas season; she had more decorations than anyone else you knew. Family was so important to her; she absolutely adored her grandson and was a beautiful woman inside and out. Debi also loved animals and opened her home to as many dogs as she could. We know that she is in Heaven at the Rainbow Bridge celebrating her favourite holiday with all her dogs this year. In kindness, donations may be made to the Windsor/Essex Humane Society.
