Obituary of William Martin Hearns

William Martin Hearns left this world April 2, 2019 to be with his Lord and Saviour at age 92. He was born to Thomas and Zoa (Brush) on January 11, 1927 and was a brother to Dolphus, Thomas, Richard, Gloria and Kenneth. William married the love of his life, Shirley (Rollo) and together they had 4 children; Darlene, Timothy, Valerie and Clarice. William loved playing guitar, wood working and camping that took him and Shirley from the East to the West Coast in Canada and several southern states in the U.S. As they got older daily trips around the county visiting children and grandchildren or out for a drive to see the sights kept him busy. He was very proud that he was able to drive at age 92, but didn’t care for those darn Senior Driver Programs (as he would say.) William was a loved grandpa/poppa to 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. His wife Shirley, children and grandchildren will honour him with a private celebration as his circle of life is complete. William is now resting in the arms of angels.
