Obituary of Cory Edward Spooner

SPOONER, Cory Edward October 15, 1973 - December 5, 2021 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Cory at the age of 48. Best friend and soul mate of Sandra Tracey. Dear step father of Rick (Heather) and Victoria. Proud "Papa Cory" of Jakob, Lily, McKayla, and Dominic. Cherished brother of Michelyn (Rob), and Jamie. Uncle of Ryan (Emily) and Zac (Morgan), and great uncle of Blake "Mr. Magoo". Nephew of Leslie (Al) and Nicole. Predeceased by his parents James and Lizette. Cory will be deeply missed by his extended family members, friend Pat, and his 1st Emeryville scouting family. He was a proud leader in Scouts Canada for 15 years, and a member of Legion 399. As well, Cory was a heart transplant recipient about to celebrate 20 years. A big thank you to his Donor's family. As per Cory's wishes, cremation has taken place.
