I haven’t seen Paul for more than 30 years but I will never forget how awesome he was when we got into a terrible car crash. I was 18 years old at that time So Paul was driving and I was a passenger. It was no way Paul’s fault but we hit a dumping truck on highway 18 on our way to Amherstburg. The truck illegally backed out onto the highway just as we took the curve in the road and Paul couldn’t stop in time. It wasn’t pretty. Both our heads busted the windshield and we we’re basically bounced around on impact. Paul found the strength and managed to get out and come around to my side of the vehicle. He unburied me from all the items that covered me on the passenger side. I was trapped under the front seat He got me out and sat me on the sidewalk covered in blood and we waited for ambulance. What a terrible accident. I guess it wasn’t our time then but anyone who saw the car couldn’t believe we survived. I guess we survived cause heaven wasn’t ready for us yet but unfortunately heaven has called for Paul to come home and I know he will be deeply missed by all who loved him. God bless you brother
