Obituary of Laura Winnifred Steiner (nee Olivastri)

STEINER, Laura Winnifred (nee Olivastri) August 9, 1933 - November 30, 2021 It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Laura at the age of 88. Loving mother of Derek Khan, Desmond (Vikki) Khan, and Renata (the late Michael) Fauteux. Proud grandmother of Bridget, Jacob, and Jessica Fauteux, and great grandmother of Dominick and Gina. Sister of the late Nick, the late Gloria, the late Eugene (Italia), and Lillian. Predeceased by her parents Angelo and Beatrice Olivastri. She will be deeply missed by the Olivastri family, Khan family, Steiner family, and her friends. Laura proudly worked for 35 years as a legal secretary in Detroit. She was fun-loving, independent, and kind. We would like to extend a thank you to her PSW Sheryl for her compassion, kindness, and thoughtful care. Donations in Laura's memory may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
