Obituary of Bradley Louis Power

POWER, Bradley Louis November 16, 1963 - November 22, 2021 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Brad Power announces his passing on November 22, 2021 at the age of 58. Born in Nova Scotia, Brad was the son of Gail Power and the late Louis Power. Cherished husband and best friend of 28 years to Shirley Power. Forever remembered by his siblings Donnie Fraser and his wife Francine, Kenny Power and his daughters Colleen and Jenna, and the late Wendy Power. Brad is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Donald and Catherine Chipman and their son Bob Chipman, and his paternal grandparents Raymond and Margaret Power. Dearly missed by his extended family Uncle Raymond and his wife Aunt Linda of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Donna McLeod and her husband Ken of Ripley, Ontario, Mary Beaton and her husband Ron of New Waterford, Nova Scotia, Karen Power of Waterloo, Ontario, Danny Power and his wife Marina of Kitchener, Ontario, Raymond Power and his wife Linda of New Waterford, Nova Scotia, Glen Power of Kitchener, Ontario, and Faye Moore and her late husband Tom. Upon proudly graduating from St. Mary's University in Halifax, Brad used his talents to teach and inspire other visually impaired individuals how to use computers. Despite the obstacles that Wolfram Syndrome challenged him with, Brad always found a way to overcome anything and everything. Brad's kind and courageous spirit inspired those around him to live their life to the fullest. After meeting the love of his life on the East Coast, Shirley and Brad moved to Windsor, Ontario where they found their forever home. Brad's religion was deeply important to him, and he could often be found reading one of his many Braille Bibles. Family was so important to Brad. He was incredibly lucky to have some of the best siblings, Wendy, Kenny, and Donnie, by his side. Some of Brad's fondest memories include traveling to the East Coast to visit his Nanny and Gramps and sharing a roast beef dinner with them. His sense of humor, while inappropriate at times, will be so greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A special thank you to all of the staff at Riverside Place and Dr. Loebach for the care Bradley received. As per Brad's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE (Wyandotte), 519-254-2585. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with the family at www.simplechoicecremation.ca
