Obituary of Carmela Sourenian

SOURENIAN, Carmela (nee DeRubeis) January 1, 1955 – November 5, 2021 It is with saddened hearts that the family of Carmela Sourenian announces her passing on November 5, 2021 at the age of 66. Born in Italy, Carmela was the eldest daughter of the late Gerardo & Anna DeRubeis and loving sister to Laura DeRubeis. The beloved wife to the late Gregory Sourenian and Cherished mother to their only son Micheal and his wife Nicole (Richards). Proud Nonna to Alex Anna and her brother Charlie. Missed by her Aunt and Uncle, Elizabeth and Annino DeRubeis and family. Carmela’s happiest moments was her time spent with Alex and Charlie. The joy that her grandchildren gave her was a spark like no other, their smiles and laughs were infectious and her love for them will never be forgotten. The family will privately be honouring her memory and she will greatly be missed. Much of Carmela’s life was dedicated to her animals, if you wish to do so please make a donation in her memory to the Windsor-Essex Humane Society.
