I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. My deepest condolences to you Kathy. He used to love riding his Honda Magna many years ago, but he hadn't been able to ride for so long, perhaps he is riding again now. We had so many great conversations at the coffee shop over the years. He will be missed.

I had the pleasure to meet Bill and the family last year. And I had the honor to become his friend. I looked forward to seeing him everyday I came to work. I'd make sure to stop in to share a few jokes always first thing, so he'd come find me n take a break with me. He ALWAYS had something nice to say, followed up with a Lil sarcasm to make me laugh. We looked forward to every time Cathy was coming. And I always enjoyed watching how perfectly " meant to be" couple they were. And how much she brightened his day, even when he tried to give the impression nothing excited him. He wasn't good at hiding it, but that was part of his charm, of course. I have lovely memories of when he taught me to ride the scooter once. I was as bad as he was at it lol And I loved meeting the grandkids on Halloween. I know that was a special day for him. And the family pizza dinner, I was so happy to see you all together. Very touching. I'll always remember that day. That's a true loving family, to have the kids being kids, and the sons and daughters, all 4, making sure grandma and grandpa had no strain on them. As best they could. THATS family. I learned so much from Bill and Cathy as well. God Bess and keep you. Rest well Billy the kid "as I'd say". I know ur at peace. And we shall see you again, my friend. Thank you for the memorries and making me feel like family. Miss you! I'll think of u every time I see some coca cola item. That's for sure :) Happy I helped in ur collection. Hard to find one, u didn't have! Lol Bless your family. You did a great job, Papa!

I can only imaging the stories he's telling up there with family and friends he's reuniting with. Bill was a good story teller with a great sense of humor. I smile with tears in my eyes when I remember all the crazy shenanigans. The best one being when he snuck into my car while I was in paying for gas and drove away with it!!! He had a good laugh that day. Rest easy Bill. We will never forget you. Kathy, Leeann and Jamie you are in my thoughts. May all the happy memories help you through the loss of your husband and dad. Sending hugs for you all.

Love you Bill and will always remember the great times we had hanging out . It's fitting you leave on " Remembrance Day " you always made a great entrance coming in sideways with tires screeching and rubber burning . Your sense of humor was better than anybody I know or knew . I'm truly blessed for having known you . RIP ( Bun Head ) <3

I am deeply saddened to here of Bill's passing. Being only 9 yrs my senior, I always thought of Bill as more a friend than an Uncle. I will always remember his full body laugh and his warped sense of humour, and adventures he took me on in my younger days, RIDE FREE BROTHER!
