Obituary of Joanne Lucille Duchene (nee Berthiaume)

Duchene, Joanne Lucille (née Berthiaume) August 6, 1936 - November 10, 2021 It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Joanne has reunited with her husband of 61 years, Denis (October 25, 2021). Proud mother to Patrick (Patricia), Leonard (Lisa) and Michelle (Robert). Grandmother to Zachary(Kat), Emily (Alex), Cassidy, Alexander, Abigail, Braydan, Jenna (Marcus), and Ian (Erica).Joanne is predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Gertrude. Siblings; Patricia (the late George), Jackie (Joe), Mary Lou (the late Mike), Mike (Marilyn), the late Patrick (Mary Lou), Jack, Mary Anne (George), Joe (the late Mary Lynn) and the late Tim (Jane). Mom was happiest with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday November 15that 10:30 am at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Belle River. As per Joanne's wishes, cremation has taken place.
