Obituary of Eileen Marie Matte (nee Labute)

MATTE, Eileen Marie (nee Labute) It is with heavy hearts that the family of Eileen Marie Matte announces her passing after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Eileen passed away surrounded by love on November 5, 2021. Born in Windsor, Eileen was the daughter of the late Linda Johnson and step-daughter to the late Keith Johnson. Cherished wife and best friend of 57 years to Larry Matte. Sadly missed by her kids Sherry Ann, Glenn (Tracy), and furry son Meeka. Proud Meme to Kristy (Goober) and Terry. Forever remembered by her sisters Evelyn (the late Lino) and Madeline (Chuck). Eileen is predeceased by her brother Terry. Loving sister-in-law to Raymond (the late Bev). Eileen will also be dearly missed by her extended family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved her. After retiring from Dollarama in 2008, Eileen enjoyed spending her time with her family and her adoring dog. She loved playing bingo and euchre. As per Eileen's wishes, cremation has taken place.
