Obituary of Michele Alynn Turner (nee Davis)
TURNER, Michele Alynn (nee Davis) October 8, 1958 - November 2, 2021 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Michele Turner announces her passing. She fought a brave fight and completed her journey on November 2, 2021 Michele was the daughter of Pastor Richard Davis and the late Edyth Davis (2019). Beloved husband and best friend of 37 years to William Turner. Cherished mother of Todd Davis and Tyler Turner. Cherished grandmother to Shyann and Aubree. Forever remember by her siblings Richard (Valerie) Davis, Randy (Shirley) Davis, Lorraine (Ryan) Robinson, Janine Davis, Tracy Davis, the late Brenda Davis, Crystal Davis, Danny (Stephanie) Davis, Janice Davis, Renee Davis, and a multitude of in laws, family and friends. Michele was the oldest of 8 girls, and anyone who knew her, knew how motherly, nurturing and encouraging she could be with not only her sisters, but everyone around her. She was the pillar of the family, that everyone and anyone could depend on. Michele touched many lives wherever she went. She was a funny, silly, fun-loving person, and she left memorable impressions that last a life time. If her jokes didn’t make you smile, her crazy laugh did. Michele had such a strong personality, you knew this is someone you want not only on your side but in your life. A lifetime friend she was. Together Michele and Bill enjoyed life. They built their life together and walked by the word of God! They raised 2 sons, traveled the world, and welcomed 2 beautiful granddaughters. Michele had a beautiful gift to sing praise and worship, and when she got started, she got everyone started. Michele never missed the opportunity to witness the Gospel of Jesus Christ to whomever would listen. Michele took good care of her mother in her last days. It gives us all great comfort knowing they are together, swinging on their swing counting airplanes. As per Michele’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Public visitation will take place on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 10am-11:30am at First Baptist Church. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, reservations are required to attend.
