Obituary of Norma Medina

MEDINA, Norma December 16, 1943 - October 25, 2021 With heavy hearts, we would like to share the loving memory of beloved Norma Barbon Medina. Passed away with her loving daughter Clarissa, and two grandchildren Casey Ann and Jerriel at the age of 77 after a brave fight with cancer. God has granted her eternal peace and can now reunite with her loving husband Rodante. Cherished mother of Ma. Theresa, Noel, and Edwin as well. She will be missed by her loving brothers and sisters Lucita, Reynaldo, Virginia, Ophelia, Mel, Emelito, Ernie, and Freddie. Norma was very loved by her many nieces and nephews; Ma. Charito , Theresita, Reynaldo Jr. to name a few, but was blessed by many extended families. Norma was blessed with many grandchildren including loving Pamela Mae, Ma. Fatima, Kimberly, Jam-Jam, and Jade. She was a very proud teacher in Imus Cavite Philippines and would always share stories to anyone that would listen. She was the most thoughtful and caring person and would greet every face with a smile. In Canada, she did not let the language barrier stop her from making others laugh, smile, and most importantly dance. Her family remembers her as the most kind, caring, generous, and strongest person to have met. The family would like to give a huge thank you to her caregivers from Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital Metropolitan Centre, and Hotel Dieu’s Palliative Care Centre. We remember and celebrate the beautiful life of Norma as she has touched the lives of everyone around her. As per Norma's wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE (Wyandotte) 519-254-2585. A private visitation for the family will occur at Windsor Memorial Gardens at 100 Division Road on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 3-4pm.
