"I treated my body like an amusement park instead of a temple and have no regrets" You lived life to the fullest and brought so much joy into this world. You will never be truly gone as you will live on in all the people you touched with your brilliance. Having some homegrown in the elephant you gave me in your honour today and it almost feels like you are with me. Xoxo

Danny, you were a savant of the trucking industry, from the bottom level to the top. You knew every inch of pavement of the Ambassador Bridge, Highway 401, and you conveyed a love and respect of trucking that was passed on to those you met. If the federal government needed a national trucking carrier, you could have been the CEO and run everything with precision and down to the dime. You had some stress to deal with in your life as a child. Your baby sister Laurie was so very ill and passed away. I can't imagine what that must have been like at your young age. God blessed you with three more younger sisters. Your father was healthy and vibrant and suddenly took so very ill and that must have been scary for you because in those days the man was viewed as the head of the family. You probably felt responsible for your mother and your sisters. Your father switched from O.P.P. to Canada Customs but then suddenly again kept getting sick and each of those times near death. So, you went through that stress a few times over, all as a child. You must have felt that you had the weight of the world on your shoulders. You were mostly easy going and easy to get along with. We used to do a thing that we were the heads of the two families and would have discussions filling each other in on anything going on just for humour lol. We did our last picture of “The Heads of the Two Families” in 2018 lol. That was funny all these years as if we were running the show lol. I’ll never forget when you pulled up in your big rig in front of our house in London. We lived next door was the Fire Chief of London, and you let me sit in your truck and play on the horn lol! That was a lot of fun for a little kid. As an adult I realized and hoped the Fire Chief wasn’t trying to sleep that day. Looking around at all the gauges and you explaining how the truck drove, I’ve always wanted to get my truck driver’s license ever since. When you went to Lambton College you lived with us, and we used to watch “B.J. and the Bear” together. You gave our family Steven and Ross, and they do you and us so proud. You got to know our grandfather on earth, and he and Grandma Murchison will be waiting for you in Heaven. Your parents and Laurie, and it will be the four of you reunited once again. Go up to Heaven and “Keep On Trucking!”
