Obituary of Alma Marie Pouget

POUGET, Alma Marie (nee Mitchell) May 10, 1947 - October 4, 2021 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Alma Pouget announces her passing at the age of 74 on October 4, 2021. Born in Chatham, Ontario, Alma was the daughter of the late Robert and the late Edith Mitchell. Beloved wife of 40 years to Michael Pouget. Cherished mother to Ross Meloche and his wife Tammy, Vicky Anger and her husband Mark, and Paul Meloche. Proud grandma to Daniel, Corey, Brooke, Morgan, Cody, Carter, Joshua, Cody, Alexis, and great-grandma to Audrina and Miranda. Forever remembered by her siblings Bonnie Regnier and her husband Richard, and Ralph Mitchell. Predeceased by her sister Charlotte Powell (2006). Alma will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends. Alma will also be missed at the bingo hall and during bi-weekly family game nights where she was a Fast-Track champion. She would rarely be seen without her nails painted in intricate designs by her daughter, Vicky. Her and her husband, Michael, were well-traveled and enjoyed partaking in new adventures around the world together. Alma will be remembered for being an amazing hostess of family dinners and parties, and for her famous roast beef and mashed potatoes. In her earlier days, Alma used her creative crafting skills to teach ceramics classes. In her retirement from Fabco Plastics, she enjoyed life and spending time with her family whom she adored.
