Obituary of Brian Allen Goddard

GODDARD, Brian Allen -- May 25, 1943 - September 8, 2021 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Brian at the age of 78. He fought a long hard battle with cancer, but God saw how tired he was and called him to soar with the angels. Brian was a loving husband to Marlene, and cherished father to Jodie (Sean) Beaton, and Mark. Proud grandfather to Ryan (Amanda), Shane, Colin & Andrew Beaton. Beloved son of the late Herbert & Simone Goddard. Loving brother to Gary (Cheryl) Goddard. Predeceased by his loving sister and brothers-in-law Barbara (Bob) Gillis, Patrick Knapp & Michael Knapp. Brian will be missed by his nieces and nephews Todd (Sue), Michelle (Steve), Christine (Geoff), Tom, and Jeff (Crystal). Brian was retired from Checker Industrial Ltd. Brian was an avid NASCAR and sports fan, and he enjoyed spending time walking along the riverfront with Marlene and watching the freighters. He will forever be remembered by his dear friends Roger, Lori, Wayne, Grace, Donnie, and many others. Brian will live on through the memories of all who knew him. Everybody loves somebody sometime. As per Brian's wishes, cremation will take place. A service was held outside of the St. Francis building at Heavenly Rest on September 15th, 2021.
