Obituary of Michael John Shank

SHANK, Michael John January 4, 1955 - August 19, 2021 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mike. Loving husband to Jackie (nee Moore) for 46 years. Loving father to Gregory, Bradley (Lisa), and Jeremy (Candace). Dear Grandpa of Devin and Leah. Dear brother to Billy, Joanne, Judy, Bonnie, Terry, Wayne, Brenda, Danny, Charlene, Cheryl, Paul, and David. Predeceased by sisters Carol, Sharon, and Dianne, and brothers Leonard and Bobby. Son of the late Irene and Joseph William. He will be sincerely missed by his nieces and nephews. Michael worked for Ford Motor Company for 32 years. He was handy, full of knowledge and skills, he loved tinkering with cars, and Nascar. The family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support over the past year. As per Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Windsor and Essex County or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE (Dougall) 519-254-2585.
