Obituary of Jayne Ann Brnardic

BRNARDIC, Jayne (nee Fortin) It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Meema, Jayne Brnardic, on August 15th, 2021 at the age of 66, after a courageous battle with cancer. Reunited with her loving husband and best friend Steipan (Steve) Brnardic (2015) & her parents Joseph & Dolores Fortin. Most loving and devoted mom to Steven (Lindsay) and Ryan (Emily). Most loving and cherished Meema to her “GGs” Blake, Jack, Sadie and Beckett. Loving sister to Wayne & Deb Fortin, Leah & Ted Nantais and Paul & Darlene Fortin. She will be forever loved and missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews, her special ‘Mah Jong’ girls, baseball wives club, Scotiabank crew, along with countless other friends who were lucky enough to have known her. Jayne retired from Scotiabank, Ambassador Plaza after working for 41 years. Jayne was known for her infectious smile, contagious laugh and for putting everyone’s needs ahead of her own. Even throughout her battle, she still managed to keep her sense of humour and a big smile on her face, always reminding us that she was here for a good time, not a long time. We would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Windsor and Essex County for their exceptional care, compassion and kindness given to Jayne and our family. As per Jayne’s wishes, cremation has taken place as well as a private family service. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Hospice of Windsor & Essex County would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE (Dougall), 519-254-2585. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with the family at www.simplechoicecremation.ca.
