Obituary of Libby Rennie

RENNIE, Libby (nee Bacuvcik) July 13, 1938 - July 27, 2021 Passed away peacefully at the age of 83. Born in Croatia, Libby was the daughter of the late Rada and the late Pero Bulat. Beloved wife of the late Joe Keith Rennie. Proud mother to Joey Rennie (Kim), Lisa Dimu (Ken), and James Rennie (Anne). Loving Grandma to Madison, Trevor, Brendan, and Kayla. Step-Grandma to Josh, Ryan, Marshall, Sierra, Mercedees, and Jaxson. Loved dearly by her extended family and close friends. Upon her retirement, Libby was a proud volunteer at Windsor-Essex Hospice for 20+ years. Libby was the founding member of the Knitting Club at Hospice where she dedicated years to knitting hats, scarves, and blankets to any one in need. In her downtime, Libby was well-traveled and greatly enjoyed her time spent with family and friends. Libby making sure that those around her were well taken care of and well fed is what made her happy. Her giving spirit and heart of gold will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Libby's family would like to express their sincere thanks to the wonderful Palliative Care staff at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital and the caring staff at Devonshire Heights for their hard work and compassion. They went over and above our expectations. As per Libby's wishes, cremation has taken place. If you so desire, donations made in memory of Libby may be made to Windsor-Essex Hospice.
