Obituary of Robert Dupuis

DUPUIS, Robert "Bob" October 28, 1932 - June 21, 2021 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert Dupuis on June 21, 2021, at 88 years of age. Loving husband of Marilynn Dupuis (nee Seguin) for 67 years. Cherished father of Robert (Diane), Gary (Kathy), Mary (Michael), Tom (Francine), Margaret (John), and Denise (Rick). Loving grandfather to sixteen amazing grandchildren and six beautiful great-grandchildren. Reunited with his parents Armeline and Ernest, and his siblings Elva, Gladys, Pearl and Leonard. Bob leaves behind his sister Dolores, many adored nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Many will remember Bob as a loving, caring person who proudly cared and provided for his family. Our lives will never be the same without his sense of humour, bright smile and giving heart. Retired from Hiram Walkers, he was proud of his leadership with the Distillery Workers Union, Local 61 and his dedication to Catholic education as a member of the Essex County Separate School Board for many years. His memory will be eternal, and he will always be in our hearts. As per Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family mass and celebration will take place once restrictions allow.
