Obituary of Margarita Isabel Martinez-Gonzalez

MARTINEZ-GONZALEZ, Margarita Isabel September 28, 1955 - June 13, 2021 Isabel Martinez Gonzalez, 65, of Windsor, Ontario passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Hospice of Windsor. Margarita was born September 28, 1955, in San Miguel, El Salvador to Ramon Gonzalez and Maria Martinez. She raised 4 children and 2 stepchildren, Silvia, Mario, Ramon, Whendy, Sergio and Mauricio. She has 8 grandchildren, Natasha, Mario Jr., Heidi, Diego, Jenny, Edwin, Dillon and Gracie. Margarita worked in the mountains of British Columbia and Casino Windsor. She liked to sing, do crosswords, read and socialize with her many friends. Margarita is predeceased by her parents, Ramon Gonzalez and Maria Martinez, her brother Miguel Angel Gonzalez and her son, Mario Escoto. She is survived by her children Silvia Escoto, Ramon Martinez (Diane Moore), Whendy Escoto, Sergio Escoto and Mauricio Escoto, brothers Ramon Gonzalez, Hector Gonzalez, Will Gonzalez, Carlos Gonzalez, Rigo Gonzalez and sisters, Celina Gonzalez and Blanca Romero. Thank you to all the Staff, Nurses, PSWs and Volunteers at the Hospice of Windsor for their exceptional care and compassion. A special thank you to Meighan, Isabel and Tavia. As per Margarita's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family burial has been held.
