Obituary of James O'Quinn

O'QUINN, James July 11, 1941 - June 9, 2021 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James O'Quinn at home, surrounded by loving family, just shy of his 80th birthday. Loving father of Catherine Stupnyckyj (Orest), Dolores O'Quinn (Tim), and James O'Quinn Jr.. Beloved papa of Kyle, Benjamin, Jared, Lauren, Adam, Ethan, Emmett, Sullivan, Brittney, and a great-grandfather to Caleb. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Regina Brake, Teresa Doxtator, Joan Galpin, and Ann Dunphy (Alex), and sisters-in-law Pauline and Patricia. He will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Joseph, Peter, Alphonsus, and sisters Emma and Margaret. James retired in 1997 from Chrysler Canada after many years of service. He loved teasing and joking with his grandchildren, traveling back to Newfoundland to visit family and friends, and beating all his buddies in a friendly game of Euchre! As per James' wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. In kindness, donations to Hospice of Windsor and Essex County would be greatly appreciated.
