Obituary of Colleen Shelly Kosti

KOSTI, Colleen Shelly (nee Campbell) Passed away peacefully, following a brief illness, on June 5, 2021, at the age of 61 years. Loving wife of 36 years to John, cherished mother of Keitha-Ann Penton (Van) of Missouri and Cristy Miranda Kosti-Cutforth (Taylor) of Windsor. Adoring grandmother of Angelina, Brooke, Colton, Amelia, Tzigana-Mae, Sardius, and Jasper. Colleen was a beautician and educator for over 40 years. She, along with her husband John, are the co-founders of Spirit of Excellence Creativity Training Centre. Her vision and mission was to make people beautiful both physically and spiritually. She desired to bring individuals closer to God through the beauty industry and teaching creative expression in worship of our King. She had a heart for mentoring young girls, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances. Colleen provided quality beauty education to women who were new arrivals to Canada, regardless of their faith, education, or orientation. Colleen was a devoted member of New Song Church and had many friends in ministry throughout the world. Today we grieve a deep loss; however, we do not grieve as those who are without hope. We are confident that Colleen has fought the good fight, she has finished her race, she has kept the faith. She is now receiving her eternal reward as she worships her King no longer by faith but rather face to face. As per the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simple Choice (Dougall) 519-254-2585. A private memorial gathering will be taking place at a later date. Donations made in memory of Colleen to New Song Church or Canadian Christian Academy are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
