Obituary of John Peter Nefs

Passed away at Windsor Regional Hospital - Metropolitan Campus on June 29, 2018 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Kathleen E. Nefs for 17 years. Loving father of Randy Nefs (Heather), Chris Nefs (Beth) and David Rainone (Trilby). Cherished grandfather of Emmitt, Mirabel, Devynn and Rebekah. Special Uncle of Logan, Lucie and Chloe. Brother of Elsie Long (Gary). Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Johannes Nefs. He will be missed dearly by all of his family and friends. John, along side his partner Janice Laport, was the owner of Concept Automation. He had a passion for woodworking, gardening and Mustang cars. At John's request, cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Paul's Parish, 5885 Malden Rd., LaSalle on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11 a.m. If you so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
