Obituary of Henry J. McArthur

A gentle and kind man passed away on May 20, 2018 at H.D.G.H. - Dr. Y Emara Centre at the age of 88 after a short illness. Loving husband of Alice (nee Richards) for 66 wonderful years. Dear brother-in-law of Helen (John Jabora) of Burlington, Margaret (George Sedlar), Morris Richards, and Mary Jane Bull of Buffalo. Much loved special uncle and grand uncle to many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his cousin John McArthur of California. Predeceased by his parents, Harry and Susan McArthur, Alice's parents, Morris and Nettie Richards, his sister-in-law Marian Richards and his brother-in-law Herbert Bull. Henry was a respected employee of the Ford Motor Company for 43 years. A special thank you to Dr. Sommerdyk and the nurses and staff at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital - Dr. Y Emara Centre. At Henry "s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Henry's life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to Hydrocephalus Canada would be appreciated by the family.
