Obituary of Mervin Claud Tofflemire

Passed away peacefully on May 3 after just a few days in hospital following the family gathering for his 102nd birthday. Predeceased by his beloved wife Esther, Mervin leaves his much loved daughters Mary Bayne and Anne Wraggett, cherished grandchildren Margaret, Moira, and Melissa, and great-grandchildren Mikaela, Amy, Keagan, Kiara, and Liam, as well as his very dear friend Louise Strong. A long-time manager at Chrysler Canada, Merv enjoyed many interests such as birding, photography, travel, and woodworking. The family thanks friend Nancy Belanger and the best neighbours in the world: Le Chauffeur Jim, Kim and Larry, and Don. A celebration of this long and full life will take place at 2 pm on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Glenwood United Church, Windsor. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed to the Canadian Celiac Association, Glenwood United Church, or other charity of choice.
