MOORE, William TERRY October 16, 1942 – November 2, 2022 William TERRY Moore passed on November 02, 2022 at 80 years of age peacefully at home with his family by his side. Terry was born October 16, 1942 in Windsor and grew up in Blytheswood and Leamington, Essex County, Ontario. He was the eldest son of Billie Morgan Moore and Marjory Fern Brown. A loving brother of Ronald Eugene Moore and wife Patricia nee Lockwood (2021). Married to Sharon Ann Moore nee Marshall. Loving Father of Son Darren Alan Moore and his wife Zhang Ping (Sharon) Moore and Daughter Liane Marie Moore. Grandpa and Papa to Nathan Rison , Quinn Rison, Molii Moore and William Moore. Uncle to niece Jennifer Moore Aguilar her husband Charles and nephew Jeffrey Moore. Terry retired from Ford Motor Company Canada after 30 plus years of service as an Industrial Steam Fitter / Pipefitter. He enjoyed baseball, hockey, fishing and hunting in his youth. In his younger years Terry enjoyed coaching Riverside Minor Baseball and Hockey. Terry kept himself busy post retirement and worked hard all his life; he especially enjoyed renovating homes. Terry helped many throughout his life and he will be sorely missed by his “Wednesday night wings” pals. Terry’s wishes were for a simple gathering in his honour. Simple Choice Cremation Centre will be providing final arrangements with memorium for future viewing and condolences. The family wishes to express our heartfelt “Thank You” to all the staff at Hospice Windsor, St. Elizabeth, VON and the Met Campus Cancer Center. Family and Friends are welcome to the ”Celebration of his Life” at Sir Richards, Tecumseh Rd. from 7 to 10 Wednesday November 9. Donations always welcome To Hospice of Windsor for all the great services they provide in your time of need. Prayer for the souls of the Faithful Departed: Eternal rest grant unto them, O' Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
