Obituary of James McGuire

Passed away peacefully October 7, 2022 at the age of 88 years at Country Village LTC (Woodslee), late of Tecumseh. Cherished husband of Janet (nee Wilson) just short of their 63rd anniversary on October 31. Loving father to the late Margaret Cullen (1998), James McGuire, Gerald McGuire, Catherine & Don Morrison, and Diane and the late Pete Hodgson (2021). He will be missed by his grandchildren, Jason, Marcus & Beth Ouimet, Caitlin & Steven Marles, Krysten Morrison and great grandchildren, Braydon, Brooklyn and Brinley. James served in the British Royal Artillery Corp from 1954 – 1957. He had a career at Ford Motor Company from 1966 until his retirement in 1994. He was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branches – 255, 12 and 261, where he served on the Colour Guard. A special thank you to all of the staff at Country Village LTC for all of their kindness and care given to James over the last 4 years.
